seriously, I didn't even who the barones were until I clicked on the link....I've seen Everybody Loves Raymond a few times but never finished an episode. Seems ok for a regular sit com but still rather pedestrian, no comparison imo.

I HATE Everybody Loves Raymond. All the characters annoy me and it isn't funny.

Plus, the greatest comedy sitcoms have no laugh tracks.

I have seriously (well, not seriously seriously) considered changing my last name to Bluth.

Even though there have only been a few episodes so far the family in "Modern Family" is easier to compare and contrast to the Bluths than the Barones are

Completely agree. The comparison here isn't even close.

Bluths, hands down. The only Barone I would want to see is Peter Boyle, and he has passed.

Wow, why is this even up for debate? I don't like Raymond despite the false advertising on the title.
