Rules What is it that Paris rules exactly? The only thing she ever did was to be born in the Hilton family name and she did not have much to do about that when you stop to think about it. Her entire life is nothing more then one basic attempt at being interesting and just being annoying instead. She is ugly, not very bright, way too skinny and no talent. It's a good thing her family was rich cause we can pretty much guess where she would have ended up otherwise.

I've heard some really good things about her from the set of Repo: The Genetic Opera.

So, unless you know her personally, I doubt your opinion is really that valid.

Like the opinion of those who said she's good in Repo? If she's good I say good for her. Given enough chances something's bound to work out. But I don't need to know her personally to form an opinion of someone so hell-bent on self-promotion.

depends on what the opinion is. she is a public figure. if the opinion is "her movies suck", that is a valid opinion. if the opinion is "she is an immoral person," i'd agree you'd need to know her personally, and even then, judging is a dangerous thing. my 2 cents.

Throwing out stuff like 'personal philosophy' is moving a little past the public personae thing.

That's basically what I was responding to, I mean I'm not a huge fan of her acting, but she did a pretty good job playing herself in Repo.

Paris Hilton owes her entire career to stunt casting. And for the record, I was making no comment on her personal philosophy. I was asking if her personal philosophy contributed to that person's high opinion of her. Maybe I just have her all wrong.
