I really enjoyed this film..watched it growing up was the first peter pan i saw before the original and it got me hooked..really is a great continuation to the wendy storyline and blends in with the "HOOK" storyline kindaish but not much..wendys grown up and has a daughter who doesn't believe in make believe and is going through the whole "it's time to grow up for the family phase"...but nywho...it's a great sequel and will be added to my collection

This film was a medium success (2nd-3rd place at Box Office) and it came out a year (2002) after 9 11, some critics didn't like it and some found it enjoyable.
Personaly I thought Return to Never Land was a fairly decent sequel to Peter Pan, sure it has its flaws (I.E Never Land being treated like a Cartoon zone, Hook being a COMPLETE comic villain) the plot could've been fairly strong too. Surprised it's get'ting a Digital Copy |

I am curious if this will actually have an I-tunes digital copy.
I will not be happy if Disney is starting to switch to non iTunes digital copies for future releases. Maybe Robin Hood: 40th Anniversary Edition (Blu-ray) was an exception simply because Apple didn't carry a digital version in I-tunes. We will see. I think most people really prefer an I-tunes Digital Copy, not a streaming digital Copy via AMAZON ! |

Robin Hood, The Muppets, The Sword in the Stone, Peter Pan: Return to Neverland all did not have an iTunes option. It appears The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh will not either. Last edited by squatting hen; 08-16-2013 at 03:58 PM. |

The story and animation capture the mood of the original fairly well. The vocal talent is particularly impressive; I thought they did an admirable job of finding actors to step in for the 1953 cast, most of whom are no longer with us. The score is fine, though the standalone vocal pieces are now a bit dated. I rarely ever buy the Disney sequels, but I'll get this one. |
