I'm in for a copy. Not a movie I was familiar with beforehand but I've enjoyed some of Lieberman's other stuff, and it's always nice to support projects like this.

Yes, it's akin to buying the record directly from the band after the show.

Saw this when it was brand-new on VHS, when I was around 10, and loved it then. Haven't revisited since.

HOLY SHIT!!! thank you so much for sharing. I love love love Jeff Leiberman's other films and I was JUST in the process of trying to track down a decent bootleg of this one...then I hop on the forums and find this!! haha unreal

UPDATE: Just ordered! Can't wait! But man...if you think twilight time is pricey this one is really gonna kill ya. $34.95 for one movie that's barely even an official release...yikes. O well. Leiberman rules

I wanna order this but after I trusted the last director that was releasing his own films on DVD/Blu-ray and that didn't turn out well. The Devil's Carnival was a good release though

Never thought I'd see this on blu-ray. Not a bad film from what I can remember - pretty entertaining. But rather cheesy. Way too expensive for this though. Way too much. This is a $15 film, max. Sorry, but I just don't think this is worth $35.

And after getting screwed with the Deadly Spawn blu-ray, I'm not sure I trust independent releases like this.

I was also scammed by Deadly Spawn, but this one does say taken from a new 2k transfer, so I think it should be legit.

And Albert Pyun said his Captain America was directly from the 35mm(?) film print and we know how that turned out.

I will wait until someone post a review or screencaps before I place an order

Friggin amazing!!! This is my all time favorite b-movie. Oddly enough i just started started a Remote Control facebook page as well as a Twitter page in hopes of stirring up some demand for a proper dvd/brd release

But Pyun has a reputation as a shady and disreputable guy, and (as far as I know) Lieberman does not.

Received the movie today

Took a quick look, and I present an incredibly quick and dirty review. I'm sure someone else will do a much better job.

I like the disc intro/menu. Pretty simple and elegant and fits with the movies theme. Much better than say, what Olive releases have.

Disc size is 21.9GB.

Video is AVC. Image quality is excellent! The image has natural looking grain and appears to be true to the source. Colors don't quite pop like you might see on a new release but I wouldn't expect them to. All things considered, the transfer looks great, I couldn't really ask for much more.

I would include screenshots but I don't have any Blu-ray playback software on my pc.

The audio on the other hand is not lossless. I only checked out a few minutes so far but dialog is clear, the beep boop sounds over the title sequence sound great, so it is definitely acceptable. This is one of the few discs I have without lossless audio but I'll take what I can get.

The still gallery includes press kits stills and covers of some of the prior home video releases.

Compared to the laserdisc (which is open matte 4x3, and has a somewhat nicer back cover) this is one heck of an upgrade. Lossless audio would have made the disc perfect though. It is nice to see a quality disc can be put out independently without large studio involvement!

Highly recommended for fans of the film.

It is not a BD-R (I don't think I would have paid the price had it been one).

It is most definitely a pressed disc!

Did you not believe the website advertisement?

Each brand-new, factory-pressed copy will be autographed and numbered by writer-director Jeff Lieberman. (Factory shrink wrapping will be removed to facilitate the signing process.)
Oh, there's no subtitles for anyone who needs them.

Who's gonna start crying about the limited run and high price tag?
So tempted, have to find a trailer or something to see if I saw this (sounds familiar) and if I liked it or will like it now. Anyone got a link to a trailer? All I can find is a scene on youtube which almost sold me, but I need a little more.
