I didn't know that Terminator had dts audio?

Also, it doesn't look like we here in Aussie have a date for Terminator bluray - http://www.ezydvd.com.au/item.zml/806198

Terminator Salvation directors cut has been put up - but with only dts-hd not master? http://www.ezydvd.com.au/item.zml/809361

Don't take that as a guarantee that Terminator has DTS. From memory T2 and T3 releases had DTS so they should have them, but as the specs show DTS and DD it may be a case of some have both, others just DD. Wouldn't surprise me. As for a Blu-ray release, who knows when that will come.

Regarding the audio on the Blu-ray, Ezy DVD often just writes DTS-HD rather than DTS-HD MA. They don't always do it, but a number of releases that have MA are incorrectly labelled, Knowing for example.

As the previous DVD set, Sony is distributing the set with Terminator 2: Judgement Day provided courtesy of Optimum Entertainment and The Terminator courtesy of MGM/Fox.

The Terminator - PCM 5.1
Terminator 2: Judgement Day - DTS-HD MA
Terminator 3: Rise of The Machines - Dolby TrueHD
Terminator Salvation - DTS-HD MA

The Terminator will have a DTS-HD MA 5.1 remaster when the Skynet Edition is released next year but the disc is not done yet. So the one in this set is the same as the BD out now with PCM 5.1 audio. Terminator 3: Rise of The Machines is also the same BD currently out now.

Optimum re-licensed Terminator 2: Judgement Day to Sony in exchange for Sony licensing Rambo (2008) to Optimum for their Rambo set.

Sorry.. but I'm really lost now

I was referring to the dvd for Terminator. I know that the Terminator bluray is not out here yet.. I guess you are right that it's not done yet. But we have the Skynet Terminator 2 out here now though

But, it's good to know that Salvation is getting the full hd master treatment

terminator 1 will be MG<M right so that is fox and they do DTS -HD MA all titles

This Blu-ray set will include The Terminator with PCM 5.1 audio only.

The Skynet Edition for The Terminator is not done and is scheduled for release sometime in 2010.

So in order for Sony to include it in their set, they are including the Blu-ray Disc out now in the US & Canada with PCM 5.1 and some extras. Obviously, the case artwork will be redone for the Australian market.

The only movies in this set that have DTS-HD MA audio are T2 and Terminator: Salvation.

there is a terminator 2 skynet edition on blu ray in australia
i wont buy a blu ray with pcm 5.1... i only get 2 ch from pcm..

Nice to see a collection, but it's kind of silly isn't it.
I consider the first 3 to be a set,
and as the new ones are considered a reboot, I also consider the next 3 to be one set.
So I'm hoping for a set of the first 3 first, I was expecting it anyway.
Then I might get the next 3 in a set too.
Either that or they should (also, and probably will) make a set of all 6 or whatever amount there will be.

I just think a set of the first 3 would be nice...

The Skynet Edition currently out is for T2. steve_dave is referring to a special edition release of T1 which is expected to come in 2010. Van Ling, producer of the T2 Skynet Edition is working on it.

We're all probably also expecting a better transfer for the first right?
Or at least one of the first two, as it apparently didn't turn out that great...
