You should have put the region flag in the title of these.

Absolutely!!!!!

Zavvi really are getting hold of their shit. Only a handful of releases from them and they're already making the Play.com ones look dull in comparison (IMO).
Sooner or later though they're going to release A 'Cloverfield'.

My OCD means I already got this in the Sony Collectors Edition set. Don't think I can justify a double dip

I think this is a pretty lame title, the Ultimate Edition had stunning packaging and all I could ask for. There isn't even question of double dipping. I really think titles which are released in lame packaging and titles that can have great steelbook artwork should be released in Steelbooks. Like I would love a steelbook of say Shawshank Redemption as the original poster artwork would look stunning on a Steelbook, but at the same time I would'nt be interested in a Fight Club Steelbook as for that I'd like a proper digipack as Finchers Avant Garde artwork choices look great on Paper, like the US Fight Club Gatefold slip which looks stunning and which no steelbook can top. I think Sony should rather release movies like Moon, Moneyball, Capote, Funny Girl, Glory as steelbooks.

I wonder if they'll now re-release all their titles with the nice White Slipcovers, titles with already premuim packaging like Taxi Driver, Lawrence of Arabia on Steelbook.

Maybe, but the film was complete shit. Great films deserve great packaging. 'Cloverfield' was NOT a great film. Don't get me wrong here, it's each to their own and people have every right to buy poor films just because it's a STTELBOOK, but for me it's the case of they had the entire Paramount back cat to choose from and they chose 'Cloverfield'.

I liked it and it was incredible on a huge cinema screen. Still not sure how that small camera managed full surround sound though.

You'll be amazed what Hollywood studios can do with sound editing.

About time for this to come out. Now collectors can put this right next to their steelbooks of Jaws and E.T.
