I just saw the vid on CNN. It was horrible to watch. It seemed like the timing of the wind and train were perfect, and it happened so quickly. Glad the baby was OK.

If it was that hard to keep it from rolling, why didn't she use the wheel locks, or just hold onto it?

This was what I thought too. If it was so windy isn't it common sense for the mother to do whatever she could so that stroller will stay put??? In the video the reporter said the police found nothing wrong with what the mother did. I understand accidents happen but in this case I think the mom was negligent. She is very very lucky that the baby is alive.

That was the craziest thing I have ever seen. The mother was so upset when the train came, I can only imagine what she would have been going through for those few minutes. I am very glad the baby is alright.

The show Mythbusters did a segment on this very thing a while back I think-they proved it could happen!!!! Glad the child was ok.
