Ok I just started watching Underworld for the first time on blu, and the audio is buggin me. I started off with the volume on my receiver at like -15, which seemed fine. At the very beginning during the "studio" sequence, there's a big rumble part and it was SUPER loud, my sub was shaking my room, so I turned it down. Right when they start the subway shootout, the volume was extremely quiet so I had to crank it up to like -3 to get the desired effect.
If I had the movie cranked up to -3 during that big rumble part in the very beginning, I probably would've blown the driver in my sub. Is the whole movie like this, or was it just in the beginning "studio" part? I don't want to have it cranked during an action scene and then lose my sub to a loud part after that EDIT: I just fast forwarded to a few action sequences, and it looks like the movie is fine around the -5 to -10 volume range. I guess it's just the beginning sequence, but I'm still kinda worried. Can anyone chime in? Last edited by tbizzle; 10-18-2009 at 03:39 AM. |
