Default Digital copy releases... Can they be used multiple times?

I'm about to import my digital copy of Rambo but if do will I never be able to use the disc again? How does this work?

I was not sure where to post this, but the code that came with my digital copy is cut off on the bottom and I cannot read the code, so I cannot redeem my copy. Does anyone know of a phone number for Lions Gate that I can call to address this problem. Thanks in advance. I have looked everywhere for some kind of customer service number, to no avail.

Disgruntled Lions Gate customer.

From the Fox Digital Copy Q & A.

Q: How many devices and computers can I transfer my Digital Copy to?

A: Using the supplied serial code, you may transfer to one compatible Windows PC and one compatible portable device.

So its possible for in the future that the PSP will be compatible with all existing digital copies?? I was thinking about getting a PSP and if I could use my digital copies on them that would make me want to finally buy one even more.

No, it's very possible that future digital copies will contain PSP compatible versions

The eventual goal is obviously going to be to move these off of a seperate DVD and onto the Blu-ray itself. Hopefully most future players will have SDCard slots will make this easy for everyone until BDROMs are more ubiquitous

Seeing that the PS3 already has that, do you see Sony implimenting that sooner than most others? even though they don't have any digital copies with their films yet?

Why not use PSP Video 9 and convert the digital copy for psp. I think the PSP just needs a mpeg4 format with some extra tft file. can't remember exactly. Its the same for Ipod but with just one extra file.

William Gibson said "The Street finds its own uses for things". I guess Fox doesn't know that people rip DVDs for portable devices. Rip, convert, avast ye maties.

DRM prevents this

Warning: Do not post ways to circumvent DRM

Are the digital copies for ipod only or can they be used on zune's too?

Nevermind I read the fine print and it says not compatible with Zune

Blu-ray is a format owned by many companies

They didn't have their DRM ready until very recently. Remember they were planning on selling UMD

True... I've never been a follower of the UMD format... don't want to pay twice for the same movie, but I do like the digital copie... if they can make it psp compatible...
