Default Blu-ray Advertisements

I take it (without saying) by now that everyone has seen, with recent DVD releases, the standard Blu-Ray advertisements floating around which tells us all about how good Blu-Ray is, the 1080p high quality picture, lossless sound and why we should invest in Blu-Ray etc.

But can anyone please tell me; Why do they feel the need to place these exact same advertisements on Blu-Ray Discs? Surely to god after having spent a small fortune buying the HDTV, the Blu-Ray Player and a nice little collection of Blu-Ray Discs, it would be obvious to the person who has the movie how good it is.
