Rian Johnson's latest film 'The Brothers Bloom' starring Adrian Brody, Rachel Weisz & Mark Ruffalo looks to be getting a release in Canada on Oct. 6th '09. Check out the cover/pre-order here: -The Brothers Bloom.

Being a fan of his first feature, Brick, this film is a must see for me/ Sucks that I missed it at our local theatre.

The release date is Oct 06/2009

Same here, i missed this movie in the theatres. I really don't think it played at many cinemas or for a long time for that matter.

Great cast and story.

Yup, I bought it last Tuesday & watched it right away. I loved Rian Johnson's 'Brick', so a rush was put on this film for me to watch. Anyways, the transfer is pretty solid, but the film was only so-so IMO. Its going for 22.83 @ Wal-Mart Canada right now.

You Canadians are lucky.

The Brothers Bloom has an exclusive rental period in the US... it's apparently some new thing they're trying out, so it's available for rental now, but won't be sold in stores until January.

Anyhow, I rented it through Netflix and was disappointed. It's not bad, but I had higher hopes for it, because I really liked Brick. Plus I like Adrien Brody, and I think Ruffalo is an underrated/overlooked actor. So it had a lot going for it, but just didn't live up to my expectations.

So now I'll move on and look forward to his next movie (I think it's called Blooper... it involves time-travel), and in the meantime I can just rewatch Brick... again.

F***... I receive my copy and i have no french subtitle... it's in the jacket but not on the Disc...

Contact the studio. If it's listed on the back it has to be on the disc.
