Default It's Always Sunny in Philly DVD Seasons 1-4, $45, Amazon

Amazon's prices for this set have been jumping all over the place (from $54-$75 within this last week) and this is the best I have seen it.

My favorite show on TV ever!!! but its only on DVD. Thanks for the post though, its a great deal if anyone is willing to buy DVD. It's about time that FX released all of the 4 seasons on Blu-ray, when will that ever happen...

Already paid the Amazon troll toll for that one, I can hardly wait to get it. But that's a direct-to-video holiday 1 hour special, I want to see their entire series (seasons1 through this Season 5) on Blu-ray. For now the Very Sunny Christmas will do

If I didn't already own seasons 1-3, I would be all over this.

Unfortunately only season 5 onwards will benefit from BD and I think the Christmas special is pretty much a guarantee that we will see it on our favorite format.

yeah I noticed the camera framing in the first 4 seasons was a ridiculous 1.33:1 , and this just amazes me since this a fairly new show that started filing/airing in 2005. You'd think by 2006/2007 when 16:9 HDTV market penetration reached 20% they would start considering the use of HD cameras and 1.78:1 framing. So I know what you mean as how the first 4 seasons will not benefit from the BD release. But just like any other non-widescreen cataloge or documentary release on BD, they can all benefit from a higher definition picture transfer and better sound. That's what I was primarily refering to.
