How does one uncombine orders on Amazon.com - Blu-ray Forum

I bought two movies yesterday and one was a preorder. There combineing shipping and want me to wait on the one in stock. I did not want to combine orders for this reason, but it got combined anyways. I've done a search and can not find how to change this. I'm sure someone here will know how.

Sorry this isn't really the right forum for this, but theres not really anyone in the off topic forum.

Go into your account and cancel your pre order then reorder it.

I tried looking, but it seems the only way to do it is to cancel one of the items from the order, then re-order the item that you cancelled on another order. Otherwise you have to choose ship my items as they become available before you submit your order.

Ok, That seemed to have worked. Thanks for the advice. I'll check back later to see if they combined them again.

you are trying to uncombine and im trying to combine but its not letting me..

i was wondering the same thing. i have transformers and batman pre-ordered but i have not clicked proceed to checkout yet. i'm hoping that batman will ship without waiting for transformers. there is an option to split the orders and ship whatever is available. but be warned that it also says "at additional cost". for some reason i don't remember amazon doing that in the past.

Do two different pre orders.

Prime members can pre order and it ships as it becomes available.

If you're trying to get free shipping you're either going to have to split your order and add stuff to get over $25 or order them together and wait until they are both available.

had this same problem, said "invalid promotion type" for me.
To fix: email customer service and ask them to combine orders, they did it without question.

You should be able to by clicking the "Change" button on the "Shipping Preference" area when you are in the "View or Change Order" screen.

You need to pick "Ship as they become available" -- which will change the shipping cost (unless you have prime, generally).

That should let you... I did it yesterday because I didn't realize how long it would take one of the items to ship compared to the one they had in stock.
