I think you over did it!!!!!!!!!!

Just kidding, fantastic work...
I have been looking at a 40" Sam. LCD for my bedroom, but I'm not getting it until I move.

lol thanks HAMP.

I was tweaking her up last night I was very pleased with the overall PQ on this set. Some people complained about the blacks not being great but they really arent that bad for a 42" plasma in this price range. The detail was really nice, the colors had a nice "pop' to them... not over done but vibrant. I have the color setting set at 38 I think thats low compared to my 50" Panny thats in the mid to high 40's. So yeah, I'm happy with the purchase so far.

Nice job 4X12 on your cable management. I wish I had done soem better planning with mine before the walls went up. Nice TV too! A very efficient and nice looking job!

How is your power ran?
Is the top receptacle different from the bottom one?
Or is the top dependent upon the bottom one for power?
Or should I say is the top one an extension from the bottom one?
am I asking this right?

Reason I ask, is the HDTV utilizing the Monster power conditioner
In this set-up?

At the moment its a new outlet that was added from the bottom one.
For now, its a plain ol' regular outlet but i'm looking into two options for
this outlet...

http://www.suttleonline.com/catalog/...utlet-kit.html

or

http://www.panamax.com/Products/In-Wall/MIW-SURGE.aspx

so i'm debating what to go with...

Can you just run a power cord to the Monster power conditioner thru the wall the same way as your other cables to the tv?

I've been told that they help with the picture display.

I guess I can if its CL2 rated... I don't see why I couldnt. As far as image goes, I can't say I noticed a difference. My 50" Panny is connected into the monster and the image is pretty much the same.

Those of you with a 5.1 system in the bedroom... is it really worth it and would you go all out on a Full HD receiver or an old one connected with optical would do ?

Yes it's worth it. I've had a 7.1/5.1/5.0 setup in my bedroom for years now. If your budget allows for it...I'd say do it.
