80's
Sid Meier's Pirates (PC) - played the game non-stop; loved the gameplay, which for the time was insane: sailing across the ocean, attacking ships/towns, visiting towns, asking the governor's daughter out, going to a bar and getting more crew, and finding a treasure map and then sailing around to find the digging spot

90's
GOldeneye or Mariokart - definitely the preferential drunken college stupor option!
(watched my buddy play FF7 on the PS1, never played it myself...i think it required too much effort for my drunken state at the time)

2000's
Oblivion - insane replayability, a world as large as the city i live in (with the same number of homes and people), create character customization, just can't say enough about this game

wtf? nobody said Metroid!
90's its gotta be Zelda: a link to the past, StreetFighter 2 and Quake (and some other bad ASS pc games released there in 98/99)
but i have to admit this decade that besides CS and guildwars the most fun iv had with a game was Devil may cry 4. that was just a blast

80's: The Legend of Zelda
90's: The Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, and FFVII.
2000's: Halo 2, Bioshock, Twilght Princess, there are really too many to list here.

The Legend of Zelda is the greatest game series of all time period, in my opinion.

Not sure when it came out:

Tempest - that arcade game with the wheel instead of a joystick. Always loved that game.

Ghouls n Ghosts - always a great time.

Capcom Vs. SNK 2 - I personally feel this is one of the best fighting games ever made.

Halo - you simply can't deny what this did for console gaming.

Parappa the Rapper - still fun after all this time.

Chu Chu Rocket - Awesome fun.

Power Stone 1 & 2 - Multiplayer bliss.

I only have one game, Civilization 1-2-3. If I could have all the hours back I spend playing this game I would probably have enough of it for a second life

Ahh, when I opened this thread I thought it would be any kind of game, on my mind was the game I played in spain where you rolled a dice that had different positions that two people had to do together, if you catch my drift. Damn that was a good game.

Anyway, as for computer games.

Killzone 2
Diablo
Farcry 2
Starcraft
Pong (loved this game when I was younger)
Dead Space
Tom Clancey's Ghost Recon (I plan on getting the second game soon)
