Canada Bd+dvd+dc

Ok, I am kind of a newbie when it comes to blu-rays etc. but I know for a fact that this combo is something new to the market of blu-ray movies.
I always bought BD's in Canada stores at standard price of 28$ or less (29$ if you will...)

Now with this DVD+Digital Copy+BD combo, prices have raised a LOT!
I really dont care about the DVD they are putting in the case...and I definitely dont wanna pay for it

So, my question is; Are there still going to be the DC+BD combo only?
At future shop, best buy etc I cant seem to find them...

thanks in advance

Nope. These companies are emptying our wallets with these useless releases.

If I am buying the Blu-ray, why do I need the crappy quality DVD? or the useless digital copy that I always throw away the PIN for.

All I want in a BD release is the MOVIE and maybe a Special Features disk. *annoyed*

I like the combo packs. Most people I know don't own blu-ray players yet so it's nice to have the DVD just in case you want to bring a movie to watch at their crib. So far the only movies i've seen with the BD/DVD/DC combo packs have been super cheap, examples: UP 4-disc for $19.99, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince for $16.99 (that's cheap as heck for the blu alone!), Snow White for $10 (insane!!!).

It is a studio decision and so are the prices. The idea is not for BD owners that only watch on BD, but add the DC for the guy with a kid that wants to watch it on his ipod, add the DVD to the guy thinking to upgrade or the guy who has upgraded but who's kids watch movies on the portable DVD player.

while i do agree with you about the dvd comment... unfortunately, those arnt the prices for us as here in canada we will pay above $30 retail or more for each of those titles (at minimum)
