Default Consensus: Best Projector Screen For Price

I'm trying to find out if there is a a consensus "best screen" out there....

everybody knows that value is an opinion, but there are products out there that seem to fit this model in other categories. It can be agreed upon by a majority that Oppo makes the best bluray player for the money (or period), and Emotiva makes the best amps for the money...

what I am looking for is a Projector Screen (company, or model, or both) that performs great, and comes in at a price before the 'Law of Diminishing Returns' comes into play.

I know there are different sizes, white or grey, motorized, acoustically transparent...etc... and that "it depends on the projector". What I am looking for is that screen that "you can't go wrong with - for a great price"

I know a lot of you out there know what it is I'm trying to achieve, and if there is no "ONE", then post anyway a screen that you have experience that you think could be a contender. I think this thread could help not only me, but many others who are trying to get into the world of projectors, but are a little timid.
