is there something i'm missing with the search function? I never get any good results using it.

Under "advanced search" go to "search by keywords" on the left the use the drop down arrow to select "Search Titles" only.

It's just like any other search function, commonly used words and phrases are it's bane. If you are looking for a specific thread and remember someone using a unique word, search for that word and you are more likely to find it.

For instance, if looking for a thread on The Rocky Horror Picture Show, dont' search "Rocky Horror Picture Show", because you're likely to get threads about Sylvester Stallone and DNR debates. Search something like Curry(aka Tim Curry), much more specific and less likely to result in useless threads.

Of course now that they've updated the Summary pages you could just go the The Rocky Horror Picture Show page and find threads for that specific film.
