In no order:
Batman Begins & The Dark Knight
Transformers films
Pirates of the Caribbean films
Iron Man
The Nightmare Before Christmas
The Wizard of Oz
Avatar
Tory Story trilogy and other Pixar films
Gladiator (Remastered)
The Matrix

Box Sets:
The Godfather: The Coppola Restoration
Planet Earth
LOTR
Star Wars

I love Blu Ray for epic action films so generally favor that genre for the experience it gives

  • All Pixar
  • Live action Disney flicks - most but not all (i.e. TRON Legacy is a definite inclusion but Beverly Hills Chihuahua isn't [you know, the corny Disney stuff])
  • Best Picture Oscar winners - I'm slowly building this one
  • Franchises - Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Harry Potter, LOTR, Matrix, BTTF, POTC, etc. (I'm a completist)
  • Classics - Singing in the Rain, African Queen, Universal Studios Monster Movies, etc.
  • A good selection of various genres; sci-fi, action, adventure, comedies, war movies, westerns, etc.

Agreed! I've ditched DVD 5 years ago and for me it's not a question of "which title looks and sounds great in HD". I just buy movies I like and wouldn't even consider skipping certain titles because people think the quality is not up to a certain standard.

There are so many.

I'll start with

Ben-Hur
Godfather Trilogy.
Star Wars (complete set even though only 3-6 are good)
Titanic 3d (1997)
