Steve Martin, Alec Baldwin to Host the Oscars

Could make it an interesting show. Can't be any worse than some of the more recent ones.

Nice I really liked when Steve Martin hosted. Having dual hosts will be an interesting change.

Well you know they're going to bore. I actually liked the Golden Globes' Host this year, Ricky Gervais. You think the Oscars would learn something from that choice? Maybe Steve Carell or someone like Larry David or Jeff Garlin. Hell if they want a popular choice Larry David. Get funny beloved people. Steve Martin hasn't done anything in ages and Alec Baldwin is a crazed mad man that will beat up his daughter.

I think Neil Patrick Harris would have been a good choice. He killed at the Emmys and could bring some younger viewers to the show.

I thought they were pretty funny together on 30 Rock. I really depends on the writing and the writing IMO is usually pretty bad.

The Reader. I didn't see The Reader. Funny stuff.

But yeah, I liked the year Steve Martin hosted too. And Alec Baldwin will be a welcome change.
