There have been a lot of "Top 10" threads but I have never really seen a thread based on what you think are the top 10 Blu-rays of all time and that are just simply must-own.

So, give your top 10 Blu-rays that you think any collector just has to have, starting.....now.

I don't claim that 10 movies I think are must owns need to be had by any collector

I've just started my collection, so I can't say any of them are must own for everyone, just personally favorites. Although if I had to pick anything, I would say "Apocalypse Now" and "Blade Runner" just because the amount of acclaim their sets have received, both in terms of the films themselves, video quality, and special features.

I guess the question is, am I picking my 10 favorite movies/shows that I have on blu, or the ones that I feel are the best blu-ray releases? Because sometimes great movies get crappy blu's and some okay movies get excellent blu's

Like Avatar is great to have as it looks/sound amazing, but the movie itself doesn't rank particularly high for me.

I guess I'll go for 10 of my favorites on blu, since it's really the content that matters:

Star Wars Saga (not out yet, but I have it preordered so it counts

)
Die Hard Collection
Moulin Rouge
Fight Club
Serenity
Battlestar Galactica: Complete Series
