I hope they find the guy though..obviously he doesn't want to be found. They were interviewing his dad and he said that he had become deeply depressed due to his career being in shambles.

Well, he has a very unique look, so he shouldn't be too hard to find. I mean, that'd be horrible if they found the wrong Boner. Hopefully, we can wade through all the bogus Boner sightings and find the real Boner! . . . sorry. Imagine the seach party calling for him. . . Ok, I'm done.

I'm pretty sure on Growing Pains, his last name contained the word "bone".

Yeah, his name on the show was Richard Stabone.

I keep checking this thread hoping there's news that Boner's been found, but I keep seeing the same old boner jokes.

You'd think we got that out of our systems in the mid- to late 1980s before Leo DiCaprio ruined the show.

Eh - sort of. But hey, I think it is a funny situation to have serious news journalists talking about looking for Boner. Not my fault the character was given a name synonomous with. . .

However, we have no evidence he isn't in a hotel doing heroine or something - everyone has assumed the worse.

Also, I'm not going to pretend like I'm affected by this (my knowledge of him as a person is related to my sketchy memories of a bad 80's sitcom).

Of course, I hope they find him alive and well and he goes on to live a happy and productive life - doesn't mean I can't find his 80's sitcom name ridiculous, even after all these years.
