Default Scent of a Woman

I just noticed on this site that Scent of a Woman is for sale in the UK. Has anyone read or heard of its release in the US? Last year I purchased the Professional from the UK and a month later a US release was announced. If I wasn't so impatient I could have had the US version shortly after my UK purchase.

It could take a while. Red Dragon was available from Universal in the UK for a long time before it finally came out over here. I'd go ahead and pick it up if you're a fan. The price isn't bad, and I doubt the US release will be any different in terms of extras(i.e. there aren't any).

I'm happy with the HD DVD so I'll stick with it.

I just got a couple other Universal titles Dante's Peak and The Interpreter from the UK. They were not on the list of US releases coming so I just went ahead and bought them. The transfers are good bu there are no extras.

Since this won Pacino an Oscar, maybe they'll release it near the Oscars as part of an award series.

I just received the UK BD version of this film. It appears to be an average transfer. Much better audio and video than DVD.

The Blu almost fills up the disc and it's got no extras. methinks this is the best it will ever look and sound.

This is crying out for a 4K.

The blu is nice but it’s covered in flecks of dirt and feels like you’re watching a movie projected onto cardboard. This could look really ‘3D’ on 4K if done right, kinda like In The Line Of Fire.

There was a rumored commentary. I wonder if it was really recorded.
