Is this movie any good? Just recorded it in HD on directv. Also is it originally recorded in english or is it english dubbed? Got Em!!

For some reason I thought this was City of God. I just looked it up because i have heard a lot abpout that movie. But now that I found out it isnt the same movie, now I am more skeptical of City of Men. Oh also teabaggin, is City of Men normally in english or was it dubbed? Got Em!!

its pretty good...Its been awhile since I seen it but it has some good parts and its definitely on point (according to my gf who is from Brazil)when it comes to the true crime in the streets of Rio. I still want to go to Rio someday but my girl wont...unless we go with a big entourage of peeps. She says its that BAAD..especially if your not a local. Its not your usual LA thug story but still interesting. Check it out!

no, its not City of God. City of Men was a TV series, and the movie is based on it. City of God is one of the best movies made this decade, a Rio de Janeiro version of Boyz N the HOod, except way better than Boyz N the HOod.

ANd no, i don't think its dubbed. like city of god, its probably in portugese. just read the subtitles!

Well I put it on for like the first minute or so and there were no subtitles but I wasnt sure if they were actually speaking english or if it was dubbed. I guess until further notice Ill presume the movie is in english! Got Em!!

City of Men I was thought to believe was the television/mini series similair to City of God but not as ruthless/savage with more of a focus on drugs/crime/corruption within the favelas from a young kids point of view. From watching CoM its more current as to CoG took place in the 70s-80s

City of Men is actually the name of both a TV show and a movie (though they're related), and I'm assuming he recorded the movie.
