Default What Is The Best Horror TV Show of Alltime?

Ok Halloween is over so this will be a fit ending for the season! Give your votes for best horror type show of alltime. This poll consist of shows that are anthology type with no re-occuring cast. So for example shows that include short stories sometimes 3 different stories in one episode or even shows that only have 1 story but each episode is a completely diff story. No continuous story line with the same people. So shows like Buffy, or True Blood dont count. Anyway vote for the actual best as u only get 1 vote! Also list your fav if different from the best and list a worst if u have one also. Ill give my take and vote shortly! Got Em!!

Twilight Zone wasn't actually a horror show, it only really crossed that line in a handful of episodes. However, for consistently high quality in writing, acting and production I don't see how it can be beat. It had it's share of weak episodes, but the best are unforgettable.

Not just the best fantasy program of all time, but one of the best TV shows, period.

BTW, kudos for including Tales Of Tomorrow. Certainly not the best on the list, but one of the earliest Sci-fi shows made. Fun to watch, if just to see how much things have changed.

My two favorite growing up was Friday the 13th and some of the episodes of Tales from the Crypt.
It's funny to go back and watch some of the old episodes, I think sci-fi shows Friday the 13th every once in awhile.
Favorite episode of Tales from the Crypt was the Maniac Santa. More or less Silent Night Deadly Night but I remember it freaked me out when it first aired.

Twilight Zone is the best in my opinion, but I loved Tales from the Crypt as well. I was very tempted to pick up the Tales from the Crypt series set when it was the Amazon gold box deal the other day, but it's hard for me to make myself buy dvd's anymore since I've started collecting blu's.

The Twilight Zone first with Tales From the Crypt and Alfred Hitchcock Presents in a very close second and third.

Since you're not including "serial" type shows in the survey I'll go ahead and cast a write in vote for Dexter anyway.
