Default Foriegn releases not in the US

Which UK, French, etc. other releases are you waiting for impatiently to be released in the US.

Some we can order because they are region free, but others sadly no.

I just ordered Goonies and Payback (director+theatrical), and one already available in the US, Band of Brothers, the price was great.

I am waiting on Dune's US release.

Well, I'm not awaiting them, since I don't live in the US. But I know Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Tim Burton version) and Elektra have been released in region B only.

Looking at Amazon.co.uk again.

Escape from New York, multi-region, any good?

Night of the Living Dead, sadly it is Region B

In no particular order...

Dune - Why do the French get it, but noone else?
Downfall (Der Untergang) - The UK BD is okay, but I'd prefer defeatable subtitles, like the German release.
Dam Busters - Region locked in the UK; though I'd prefer the option of chosing a more HD-friendly aspect ratio.
Brotherhood of the Wolf (Le Pacte des loups) - It looks like everyone is getting this title but the US!
Amélie (Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain) - Can there be any excuse for not releasing this in the US at this point?
A Very Long Engagement (Un long dimanche de fiançailles) - Where Amélie has been released, this can't be far behind. Can it?

And a guilty little pleasure: Suzie Templeton's Peter & der Wolf - An amazing achievement, that really should be available everywhere, but which I've only been able to locate in its hyper-expensive German form.

There are so many others. But these are the titles that just roll off the top of my mind.

I've already bought:
"BloodRayne" 1 and 2, German import (...)
"Bound" French import
"Downfall" UK
"Elektra" UK
"Equilibrium" UK
"Escape From NY" UK
"Funny Games" US remake, UK
"The Goonies" UK
"Highlander" UK steelbook
"Invisible Target," looks like a Chinese import
"Italian Job" '69 UK
"Thir13en Ghosts" UK
"Transformers" '86 UK
"Zulu" UK

Ones that used to be exclusive but have now been released in the US:
"Air Force One" UK
"Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon" steelbook UK
"Waltz With Bashir" UK
"Van Helsing" UK

I plan on buying:
"Dune" French
More steelbooks

I want from US (because imports are region-locked):
"Brick"
"Cliffhanger" (coming out soon)
"The Crow"
"Gene Generation" ...maybe...
"Ong Bak"
"Outlander"
"The Protector" (saw it in Italy, I assume it's region-locked)
"Pulp Fiction"
"[REC]" ...maybe...
"Salo" ....thinking about it....()
"To Live and Die in LA" (coming out soon)
"Unleashed" (aka "Danny the Dog")
"Vampires" (John Carpenter's that is)

Ones I need to rent first:
"Che" (coming out soon in the US anyway)
"City of Ember"
"The Good the Bad and the Weird"
"Inside"
"Lesbian Vampire Killers"
"The Lonliness of a Long Distance Runner"

Honestly, I was dissapointed with the PQ and AQ, and there aren't many extras on it. It might pay off better to wait for a US release.

Are you sure? I have the UK version of "Elektra," and it works in my region-A player.

You can order Outlander from Canada.
