Seen this the weekend brilliant film, day one for me.

Ordered the book as well think it was only 4 pounds on Amazon

This is a tricky one, I saw it at the cinema and enjoyed the experience, the stand out for me was Sienna Miller, however there was just something off about the whole thing.....

the whole story is a lie maybe? its to persuade the american public to join the military and convey a message that the american military is the best. chris kyle was a nutcase and how he is portrayed in the film is far from the truth. he was the complete opposite. im looking forward to seeing the film but take it with a grain of salt.

I think you should probably watch it before judging, I'm not taking either side as I haven't read up about Chris Kyle and have only watched the film.

Does anyone know if the UK release has the Atmos soundtrack on the US blu? After Pacific Rim's audio downgrade, I'm a bit more cautious with Warner releases.

Personally, at first viewing I was underwhelmed with the film, but six months later and scenes are still knocking about my head. While it could have done more with the PTSD and the effects of the harsh training away from the theatre of war on a service persons mind, the sequences in Iraq were well handled. Weird that they never mention Saddam Hussein's name once.

Between this and the excellent Foxcatcher, Sienna Miller has proven to be a fantastic actress. Hopefully she's get some lead roles soon.

Package states it includes the 'Dolby Atmos' soundtrack

i got the special edition from cex today for only £5 with a slipcover,they have it at the same price as the original release.
was only looking for the normal release but as it was the same price thought i would pick it up.
anyone know what the new extras are like?
