Has anyone ever bought one? I want to buy one but the description says "Major cosmetic damage on housing." This definitely concerns me a little, but would amazon really sell junk? Anyone have any experience with one of these open box units? Amazon also have a 30 day return policy on the TV, so I wont be stuck with it if I buy it.

No idea..... but as far as their 30 day return policy, do they cover shipping costs, or do you have to eat those???
If it's on their dime, and you found a good deal, I'd say it's worth a shot...... "Major" damage may be in the eye of the beholder.... perhaps it has a crack etc..... that doesn't affect anything, and isn't that noticeable..... More major than a scratch, but not the end of the world ![]() |
