Default Ozark Music Festival July 1974

Today is the 48th anniversary of this festival and it was a wild one. Lots of great bands and no adult supervision. . I was just a teenager, never been to anything like it since, it was a blast. Any other old hippies on here that were there?

This must've been a heart opening and eye pounding experience.

I wasn't there, wasn't even born yet, but I still feel a connection to it.
There's a force from the 60's and 70's that seems to call out to me through the music and films from that era.

The 33+ bands performing, over half of which I'm very familiar with and greatly appreciate, along with the infamous Wolfman (first saw him in American Graffiti) hosting, this must've been an experience for the ages.

I always told myself, if I had a time machine and I could choose certain events to go back and experience, there would be a good number of music festivals along the way.
Kind of like 4 or 5 hour pitstops on a Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure focused more on the historical significance of music festivals.

Ozark 1974 is officially added to my time travel music festival list.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful experience.
