Default Good 2-speaker home theater setup?
I have no room for 5.1 speakers but I hate the sound coming out of my 26 inch LCD tv's speakers and want a better sound system. I was considering a Sony DH100 for a receiver and a pair of Sony SSB1000 speakers. I just want quality sound and my budget is $500. I have a blu-ray player and can buy a receiver with DTS-HD decoding but with only 2 speakers will I still benefit from DTS-HD decoding? If I won't, I might as will get the 2-channel stereo receiver?
