Ryan,
They are very well built, great sounding speakers. They also ship them free of charge.
High on my wish list is a VP150 center and a pair of QS8 surrounds.

Don't be afraid to try them. This is a class act company that stands behind their product.

dude, ryan, you really cannot figure out what speakers to you want can you?

Have you gone out and auditioned speakers yet? I would highly suggest that you do if you haven't. And when I say auditioned speakers I mean, leave Best Buy and go to some Mom and Pop speaker shops and really listen to all that you can.

Where do you live?

Also for internet direct brands you can always look at Swan. Here is the Diva 5.2 and you can buy them here

Ryan, I have had my Axioms for approximately a year now and I couldn't be happier. You are right, they are exceptional build quality and great performers for a great price. The Axiom customer service is also exceptional
Give em a try and if you don't like em just send em back.

dude i live in NH and the only things around are BB and sears. mom & pop stores??? ya right, where??? i know of a few home theater stores in the area and have been to all of them.

THEY all dont carry everything. BB doesnt even have all the def tech mythos to sample. they dont have boston acoustics unless i travel south for a while.

and axiom? where the hell would i listen to these around here? they are speaker wholesalers online company. dont know where i would sample these.

anyways if my threads on speaker opinions are bothering some ppl than dont read them. i come on here looking for opinions and help with technical things. there are alot of ppl on here with alot of knowledge. a few that have been great are fireman, forsberg and a few others. sorry but i want to get the system i know will be great ans last a while. did all my upgrades this year and want to be happy with my speaker choice.

Bro, by no means was I chastising you. I think it is good that you are looking at a wide range of speakers. it is the only way that you will find exactly what you want. I was only wondering where you lived so that I could do some research on what is around you that you coud listen to. If you feel that you would like to give me the city and state(NH) that you live in I would do some leg work for you and see where some dealers are. Just teasing you and trying to help...

I like you could not preview these speakers before I bought them. I did way to much research into the qs8's before buying. I guess you could say that it was a blind buy. these speakers by far surpass my expectations an out perform the other speakers in my setup to point where i will be buying more axiom's just to bring my fronts up to the same quality. bar any obvious manufacturer defects or shipping mishaps you will not regret the investment. check out my gallery for pix of them.

Axiom (the company) is great to deal with. The speakers, IMO, are also great. I have the M60's, VP150, and 4 QS8's (along with an SVS PB12 Ultra/2 sub). I would recommend trying them. You get 30 days to decide (you have to pay to ship them back).

Meanwhile, go listen to as many others as you can. Then when/if you get the Axioms, you have some reference to compare them too.

Also, check out their forum. Ask for an audition - there are folks all over who are willing to let you come to their home to listen.

Can't remember exactly how long it took, but I'm sure it about a week. I believe they shipped from Chicago.

I just got my first pair of QS8's yesterday and they look great!! I originally got two but cancelled one and used the money for a new Prepac TV Stand... So the 2nd pair will wait a little while. But they look great and seem to be built like a tank. I'm hooking them up this week end. Service was great and fast...

I'd strongly suggest them and if you don't like them its only setting you back $30-50 to send them back!! You would spend that in gas money and time!

Thanks man... the Prepac was the only one I found that was deep enough (20") to hold the Elite SC-07 without cutting the back

As for the Axioms, go for it. You really have nothing to lose... 30 day in home trial can't be beat. Worst thing that can happen, you end up keeping them
