Hey everyone
Just wanna start off my apologizing in advance if this has already been posted somewhere, I just wanted to get the question up. First off, I DON'T HAVE SPEAKERS. Just the TV (32" Samsung 1080p). Some blurays I watch (eg. The Godfather) have the dialog the same volume as the other sound (eg. footsteps, moving chairs, etc.) making it hard to hear what the characters are saying over said sounds. However, some discs, like Burn After Reading sound fantastic and the dialog is crisp throughout. I'm just wondering if there is anyway I can make the dialog louder and the other sounds quieter? As I say, some discs are fine, some are bearable and then some are just horrible. I had a fiddle with the sound settings on the player (Samsung bdp1600) but can't tell if they've had any effect. Something about PCM, PCM downsampling, bit-re-encode....it's all jibberish to me!!! I don't understand sound ![]() I would love to buy speakers but don't have the money at the moment, having just bought the tv, player and discs. Thanks a bunch in advance, hope you understand my question and I look forward to hearing back ![]() |
