Default Godzilla

Guess I got another movie early, imagine my surprise when I sold Madden today and found this movie at Hastings for $20. I think the PQ was excellent and the sound will rock sound systems for those who have them. Not much to this movie really, Roland Emmerich doesn't really make thinking man movies, just brainless popcorn fun, a lot like Michael Bay.

<straining tact:>
Uhh, yeah: When I saw TF2, "Godzilla" was definitely the first movie that sprang to mind.

(And although the "Mayor Ebert likes candy!" jokes were considered sad and puerile in their day, do they come off as somewhat tasteless in the light of what we know today?)
