Cool

IMO that screen size is too small to see a difference between 1080i/p. From my knowledge the screen size has to be 40+inches

I agree guys. Save some money and get a 720p for a 32 inch screen. Maybe test out a 1080p and a 720p at your local electronics retailer and see if YOU can tell the difference. Just because we can't, doesn't mean that you won't.

Honestly I can see a difference b/t i and p, and 1080 and 720, but it is my job to look at these things all the time.
They are both very good though, but if you want the highest quality, go for 1080p. Most people don't understand the difference b/t p and i (progressive and interlaced), but once you see the difference, there is no denying that p is better.
I am running a 1080p 46" Bravia, and it is BEAUTIFUL! I would not go much larger than 50" (at least with an LCD), and smaller is always good. When you get smaller than around 40", it is much harder to see the difference b/t 1080 and 720, and might just be worth your money at 32" to go 720p.
However, it is up to you and if the price is right, go for it. I have had a good experience with Sharp on a whole, but I can't comment on that particular screen.

I don't know if I would go with the Sharp. Lots and lots of people have been complaining about "color banding" issues with their lcd's. I'd rather buy a Sony, Samsung or a Philips. If the price is a big factor than go with the Philips. I just bought a 42" 1080P Philips lcd for my parents and to be honest with you the image is pretty amazing on it.
By the way the 42" 720p/1080i Philips lcd is actually the same price as the 32" 1080p Sharp you're looking at. Just a little FYI...

I have that TV. I say spend the extra few $$ for the 1080P display. Why compromise? (And no, I'm not loaded!)

I had banding issues on three Sharps in a row. Would not reccomend them.
