Help!! Suggest a sub - Blu-ray Forum

I did a lot of shopping this season so looking for something cheaper in the range of $200. I bought the following gear as yet:

1. Energy classic 5.0 speaker pack
2. Sony STR DN1000 A/V receiver

any suggestion for a good subwoofer under $200. lower is better.

For less than $200, your best option is Acoustic Audio HD-SUB 10 or HD-SUB 12 subwoofers. They come in three colors (black, cherry, & maple). Make an offer on their Ebay store. You may be able to save $20-$30 more on top of the already discounted price.

+1 on what Big Daddy suggested, if your budget is firm. However, if you can bump your budget up slightly, give the Premier Acoustic PA-120 a serious look.

+1 --- I have the PA-120 myself & it Rocks for the money, & is very well built & has a Beautiful Black Piano finish on the top (& bottom---not sure why There, but oh well; it looks great). You can get one for $229 + $29 shipping, it weighs about 56 pounds & as noted, it IS Solid & an Excellent Performing Sub for the money.

I have to agree with Big Daddy as well. You can get a fantastic deal on Acoustic Audio subs on eBay. Plus, they charge no tax, and have FREE delivery. I got mine for about $60 off retail. ( $200 for a 15" sub ! ).

i've got a deal on polk audio psw111 on craigslist for $140. how does psw111 stands compared to Acoustic audio?
