Well, I purchased a 50" Samsung plasma (PN50B550) last week at Best Buy and although it has great PQ, the burn-in was getting annoying. I would take a blu-ray out of the player and it would go to a menu for 5 seconds, leaving the menu burnt into the screen. I did the "screen wipe", but I feel I shouldn't have to do that in the first place (esp. for just taking a movie out of my player for a moment) . I turned down the contrast as a recommendation but the picture is terrible now.

I like the plasma but I want to avoid the burn-in issue altogether.
