Through the years: a modest living room setup

Welcome to my living room HT setup

My intent has been to maintain a small footprint with all my equipment (as much as reasonably possible). I like to call it a minimalist design aesthetic i.e. keeping everything clean and clutter-free.

Finally, after incremental upgrades in the past 3-4 months, I'm now officially running a 5.2.4 Atmos configuration! The final piece of the puzzle was getting an Atmos-capable receiver - I already had the height speakers installed and wired.

Current equipment list:

• Speakers - Klipsch RP-250 (LCR), Polk OWM-3 (front/rear heights), Klipsch S-20 Surrounds
• Subwoofer - Dual SVS SB2000's
• Tactile Transducer - Wireless Buttkicker Advance kit
• TV - LG 75UH8500
• Receiver - Denon AVR-X4200W + OSD two-channel amp
• Media/Playback Devices - Oppo 203 (region-free), PS3, Rogers SA8300 HD-PVR
• BDI Mirage 8224 Media Cabinet

Misc. - DIY media shelves, Harmony 880 remote, Sewell Deadbolt banana plugs, LED Bias Lighting kit, Trendnet 5-port Gb switch, PC media server w/ 8TB storage.



































My blu-rays have been moved to a new shelf in my bedroom, to accommodate its ever-increasing size
