Default What are "Followers"?

Just today I noticed I now have 1 "follower". What's that all about? Is that different than friends or contacts? How do we follow someone? What are the advantages of doing so? And can we block people from following us?

To follow a person you go to that person's community profile and click on the little person icon to follow them.

"Followers" are people that follow your actions and are also known as Stalkers.

I had the same questions...

And along these lines, it would be neat to be able to see who Facebook-liked our collection. Is that possible to do here or on FB?

On right hand side of the home page where it shows all your profile links there is a subsection called Social with a link under it that says News. This takes you to the News page where it shows the latest posts and recent collection updates of anyone you are following.

You can see who is following you by going to your community profile and look for the link that says Network.

It's an option to follow interesting members and see all their most recent activity in a news feed. It will be expanded further in the near future.
