Default Amazon Reneges on $10 Promotion!

Amazon's promotion to send an e-mail to customers giving them a $10 rebate if they purchased "UP" is bogus. I preordered "UP" and sent them an e-mail asking about their $10 reward promotion. They told me it was a manufactuer's rebate.
I wrote back giving them the link showing this was an Amazon promotion. They said they could not help me. Here is the related correspondence.

I got that SAME response.

What I did is take the advice of someone on here whose name I forget and called their customer service dept.

They gave me NO trouble on the phone and refunded me back $11.31!

You got a link with that e-mail asking if that response "resolved" your issue. Use the "No" option and explain the facts once again.

I called and found a very courteous representative, Ashley, who quickly gave me a $10 credit.
Some at Amazon are more knowledgable and helpful than others.

was there a time limit on the promotion? I got the same e-mail a couple weeks back and used it for RACE TO WITCH MOUNTAIN and got it for
$13 bucks..

no problems.
