Default PayPal gift question

If you use PayPal gift as payment, can someone try and screw you by filing a claim? I wouldn't think so, based on the fact that you're not supposed to use it for commerce. I'm selling something to someone, and they are not comfortable with amz gc. Just wondering, thanks in advance.

Paypal Gift is just that, a gift... There is absolutely no coverage to anyone if payment is sent that way... That's why this website no longer allows payments sent as gift, because the buyer has no protection...

Okay. I'm not selling BD's here, I'm selling a huge lot of toys. Since it's going UPS, I'm not concerned with shipping issues. I just don't want someone to screw me and lie. thanks for the help

if they fund the PPG payment with a credit card, they can dispute the charge and there is no seller protection. If its straight from Paypal or bank transfer you are safe.
