Default Top "5" NBA Point Guards of All Time??

Ok lets see who knows hoop and what are people's opinions about the game. List who u think are the "best" five PG's to ever play in the NBA. Ill start this off:

1. Magic "Earvin" Johnson
2. Isiah "Zeke" Thomas
3. Jason Kidd
4. John Stockton
5. Kevin Johnson

Also I know there are a few cats who play multiple positions so go by what they played the majority of their career. One known player "Iverson" is a 2 guard so he didnt make this list as most consider him a "2" man. Lets see what yall got. Got Em!!

1. Stockton - I'm a Jazz fan so I have to go with the Homer pick but you have to add the leader in Steals and Assists.
2. Magic
3. Big O
4. Walt Frazier
5. Isiah Thomas

CZAR no Oscar Robertson?

In my opinion I really think that Paul and Williams will no doubt be better PG's than Nash and Kidd ever were.

All time is hard as I didn't watch before the 80's. Obviously Jerry West would be up there with Walt, etc.

From the 80's to current:

Magic
Stockton (rarely ever made a mistake, hence I always thought him and Tim Duncan were robots..both boring as hell to watch but they always executed.)
Jason Kidd
Steve Nash
Gary Payton
Kevin Johnson
Isaih Thomas

Current best I'm going with Chris Paul, pre-injury he has been unstoppable.

honarable mentions to:
Baron Davis
Deron Williams (kind of reminds me of a younger Baron, though not as good I think the potential to be an all star is there).
Mr. Big Shot Billups
Tony Parker

Oh course, I'm going to say Isiah belongs there.

Magic and Stockton too.... I'd have to think about the other two.

Nice thread! Being from Detroit, Zeke (Isiah Thomas) is my all time favorite. Was Pistol Pete a point guard?

CP3 is special but I truly think DWill is better IMO and I'm not saying that because I am a Jazz fan last two years it was definitely CP3 as the best PG but I think DWill is better not by much but from what he done in this years playoffs he elevated his game to another level more than I thought he would at this stage just ask Billups and Denver

Time will tell. I really like DWill (and I've always hated Utah as I'm a Warriors/Lakers fan ) and I hope he continues to elevate. Him and Paul are completely different but both great players to watch and I'd be more than happy to have either on my team.

yea youre welcome for the basically free pick...the only way people will cheer for Isiah is if after all the mess he has caused over how many years now, would be if we end up getting Lebron

Yeah, he's been pretty bad after his pro career.

Personally I think The Glove was better than Nash or Kidd although I'm biased because he's my favorite player of all time.

Yea couldve listed Oscar but oh well. Also I may be a homer but I think Rose will be just as good if not better than Paul & Williams and could also make this list once he is done playing. Got Em!!

Yeah, that wasn't really meant as specific order. GP was so fun to watch with Kemp. Amazing defense, passing, scoring, etc. He had it all in every category!

I would have hated to have his ass guard me

A shame he didn't get a title until on the Heat (game winner as well on one game).
