Default Warning on Amazon Price Matching

Guys it appears that Amazon MAY be raising their prices on non-advertised BD titles when the competitors they are matching show SOLD OUT online.

Seen this on a few titles. I was holding a big order in my cart and decided to pull the trigger because, most likely, these titles may rise in price again today if the competition sells out.

Something to keep in mind for your planning. Many of you are planning & scheming some pretty large purchases.

Yeah, that's happened to a few of my titles. Right after I purchased them, they went up in price.

I was kind of disappointed that no one had Ratatouille on sale this year. My wife and I really enjoyed it. My wife also loves Forest Gump but no one that I know of had that on Blu for a good price either.

Last night I had Coraline in my cart for $11.99, but rang up $14.99 during check out.

They raised the price right after I bought Monster vs. Alien in the lighting deal

Thanks for the heads up. Hopefully most of us have already ordered everything we wanted. I see nothing wrong in them raising prices back to their original prices.

I'm good so far because I was able to catch a few movies at their lowest peak before they increased the prices.

My feeling is that if you really enjoy something, then that might be something you go ahead and buy, even if it's not a super awesome deal.

I agree with you. The enjoyment you get out of it is worth a few extra dollars.

Makes sense... Why should they honor a price match from another store if said store is sold out?...
