Default Trailers on Bruno?

Not that the trailers that Universal has put on Bruno matter much to me, but I was skipping through the them (Public Enemies, 9, among others) at the beginning of the disc and noticed that they are all inordinately compressed and are quite visibly not of the pristine nature that the feature film is in.

Is there a reason for this? Again, I don't really care that much but I'm just curious as to why.

Well, all of the bonus features are in HD, aren't they? So maybe they did that so it would all fit.

These trailers are being streamed through your internet connection - either 480p or 720p is automatically chosen based on your connection speed, and then streamed over to you in a fairly seamless manner. That is why the quality and the bitrates are so low. Presumably this always them to advertise different movies on the same discs as time goes on.
