Would be cool if it was an endoskull bust since the UK was the only country that didn't get a T2 endoskull release.

Cool, as much as I like it, I'll wait until they do a package of all 6 films after Terminator 5 and 6 come out.

Not possible the movies are owned by different studios.

I know that, but isn't this a special packaging for all 4 films?

Maybe they are making their own packaging. That's the only possible way to have all the Terminator movies in 1 boxset.

there seems to be more co-operation between studios in europe,

Rambo 1-3 are distributed by Optimum in the UK and Rambo 4 by Sony, yet you can get a boxset of all 4 movies.

The UK rights are different...

The Terminator - MGM/Fox
Terminator 2: Judgment Day - Optimum
Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines - Sony
Terminator: Salvaion - Sony

So it looks like Sony distributes the set while providing licensing fees to MGM/Fox and Optimum.

The US rights are different...MGM/Fox still has The Terminator but Artisan has T2 while Warner distributes T3 and Terminator: Salvation. So I suspect the US distirbutors just can not come up with a proper agreement.

Over here in the UK most studios come together for a box set releases even on new releases.

This is listing some of the DVD sets and will list blu-ray if it has one.
Diehard Quadrilogy: Fox and disney
James Bond 1 - 20 and inc casino royal: Sony and Fox
Starship Troopers Trilogy: Disney and Sony (blu-ray release as well)
Rambo 1 - 4 Sony and Optimum (blu-ray release as well)
Terminator Trilogy: Fox, Sony and Optimum

So the terminator box set will happen. As for if it will happen in the US I don't know

The picture changed. It looks like a mask or another Endoskull.

EDIT: Play.com have confirmed it as a Skull Packaging as well (Terminator 1 - 4 Boxset: T-600 Limited Edition Packaging (Blu-ray)):

Review

The Terminator (1984): In this blazing, cinematic comic book, Arnold Schwarzenegger is perfectly cast as the fiercest and most relentless killing machine ever to threaten the survival of mankind! From the Oscar winning director of Titanic this fast-paced, cleverly conceived, rip roaring action adventure fires an arsenal of thrills, intriguing plot twists and heart-stopping suspense that never lets up for a minute!

In 2029, giant super-computers dominate the planet, hell-bent on exterminating the human race! And to destroy man's future by changing the past, they send an indestructible cyborg - a Terminator - back in time to kill Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton), the woman whose unborn son will become mankind's only hope. Can Sarah protect herself from this unstoppable menace to save the life of her unborn child? Or will the human race be extinguished by one mean hunk of mutant metal?

The Terminator 2
(1991): The Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger), a cyborg sent back through time, joins forces with Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton), a woman haunted by nightmares of mankind's inevitable nuclear destiny. Together, they must protect her son John (Edward Furlong) - the boy destined to lead the freedom fighters of the future - from the deadliest machine ever created, the liquid metal T-1000 (Robert Patrick).

The Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines (2003): A decade has passed since John Connor (Nick Stahl) helped prevent Judgment Day and save mankind from mass destruction. Now 22, Connor lives "off the grid" - no home, no credit cards, no cell phone and no job. No record of his existence. No way he can be traced by Skynet - the highly developed network of machines that once tried to kill him and wage war on humanity. Until... ...out of the shadows of the future steps the T-X (Kristanna loken), Skynet's most sophisticated cyborg killing machine yet. Sent back through time to complete the job left unfinished by her predecessor, the T-1000, this machine is as relentless as her human guise is beautiful. Now Connor's only hope for survival is the Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger), his mysterious former assassin. Together, they must triumph over the technologically superior T-X and forestall the looming threat of Judgment Day...or face the apocalypse and the fall of civilization as we know it.

Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins (2009): Set in post-apocalyptic 2018, John Connor (Bale) is the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. But the future Connor was raised to believe in is altered in part by the appearance of Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington), a stranger whose last memory is of being on death row. Connor must decide whether Marcus has been sent from the future, or rescued from the past. As Skynet prepares its final onslaught, Connor and Marcus both embark on an odyssey that takes them into the heart of Skynet's operations, where they uncover the terrible secret behind the possible annihilation of mankind.

is Terminator Salvation being marketed as Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins in the UK? Strange Sony aren't doing that here but I am fine with just Terminator Salvation.
