Some questions about playstation 3 - Blu-ray Forum

1) If you change the size of the cache to 12 gigs in playstation home, what size hard drive will you need in order to still have enough space for other things?

2) Is there a way that you can check on how much money you still have in your playstation wallet?

1) I have no effin' idea what you're talking about... I mean, 120 GB's is a pretty good amount to do whatever, especially if you're only talking about dedicating 12 Gigs to one thing.
2) Just go to view cart and in the top right hand corner, it'll say Funds:, or Available Funds: or something to that effect.

i have a 60gb and have plenty of games saved on there and home and all that and have a good amount left on there, with the 120gb you should be fine. but if youre really worried about it, you could upgrade the hardrive or pay an extra $50 and get the 250gb. good luck

I put my cache to 12gb and I didn't notice any difference to home at all. It still loaded everything I went into.

At the moment I have a 320GB drive in my machine so I couldn't tell you if you notice a problem with a 40gb. Although I would imagine you couldn't put much else on the drive since you only have 20GB left, which would be used for installs and saves on about 3 games.
