Have Black Friday deals made you a bargain addict? - Blu-ray Forum

As this Black Friday draws to a close, do you find after so many great bargains that you are now addicted to them and that you keep looking at the "Hot Deals" forum and the "Show new deals" area for just one...more...fix? I know I do. Sure, I can't afford any more but all I ask for is one more surprise that I will really want. (But...but...I can quit at any time I want to.)

Completely. Since joining this forum (and finding out about Slickdeals.com), my self control has insanely diminished. I guess there's two ways to look at it...I'm spending a lot of money because I keep finding out about great deals for movies I want to buy and basically can't resist them because I'm weak, OR, since I'm going to buy the movies at some point anyway, I'm actually saving money buying them through a deal....I prefer to remain in denial and go with the latter mentality

yeah, I have gotten to the point where I won't buy a movie until it reaches a certain price point. Of course it will be different for whether it is a new release or a cataloge title. These Amazon and Best Buy deals have definitely hit my wallet hard

bought 10 blu's on black friday ,hard hit for me too since i already bought 30 blu's in 2009 alone.i say its well worth it for me

Seriously...I rarely buy anything unless it's 70%+ discount. I refuse to buy new releases unless they are on my must have list (maybe 3 flicks in the world).

I also monitor 3rd party sellers for good used deals.
