Yes I spent 10 grand on my home theatre. Less than 2 grand on my pc and monitor.

Weird question considering this is a Blu-Ray site, hence home theater but ok sure I'll answer...spent gazillions on my HT and maybe $2000 on my PC.

but my new HT cost me almost as same as it cost for the new equipped kitchen (kitchen was quite cheap

I've spent more on my HT then my last 3 PC's. I've got about $2500 in my last 3 PC's, being one was a gift, and when my TV was new, it cost more than that.

Just in my bedroom is $1200 worth of TV and BDP.

Livingroom approx. $2500-3000

Kids room even has $700 worth of DVD upconverter and a Vizio

PC= e-machine with free monitor.... you tell me. Costed about $400 including tax.

My laptop was around $600, my home theater was around $5,000. My TV alone was over 3 times the cost of my computer. It'd be hard to spend more money on a PC than a decent home theater these days, unless your PC was a loaded model with expensive software. My work PC would be closer to my home theater, as it has a lot of special software, but even that only cost around $2,500.

I spent 3x on my Kuro than on my PC alone. I am guessing overall 20:1 at least.

I spent more on each speaker than my last computer (Dell refurb). My subwoofer cost more than my computer, my son's laptop, and my wife's laptop combined.

I bet my BD/DVD collection is worth more than my computers...
