i think ive found out!uk version on amazon.co.uk has a running time of 105 mins and usa version on amazon.com has running time of 119!so i take it we will be getting theatrical version after all!im very pleased with that!at least i dont have to import german version again just to get it as early as possible!

Many people will tell you to not trust Amazon's info regarding blu ray releases. I'd double double check on other sites to be sure if I were you.

Yep...

btw I only really liked the last 40 mins or so of Zombie's remake. I found the stuff with the kid quite excrutiating to watch. Do you think I would like Zombie's remake sequel any better? Bearing in mind that I just want to watch a boiler suited masked Shape doin' what he does best....

No worries. To be honest EiV arent known for their quality control and have put out more than a few crap discs. I'm not a fan, so if you can find an alternative to them, go for it.

Yes, the UK disc is theatrical, while North America has the dir cut (seems that the US disc is region free, but is the Canadian distributed by Alliance? Which would lead me to think it's locked.)

Yes the canadian disc is produced by Alliance, I own it. It IS Region Locked. Didnt think it would be cause unless they are releasing discs they have created themselves, they normally just port the US Disc.

Please, I'm so so so desperate for this to be verified definitively: is the UK BD of HALLOWEEN II region-locked or not? Someone's gotta know...

I've noticed that you have quite the attitude from this post and from other posts, and I think I'm going to take this opportunity to finally call you out on it because I'm tired of ignoring it.

Calm down and please stop being disrespectful to forum members.

I also did the same thing USiT...I was getting excited about potentially seeing the 1981 Halloween being released overseas (which weird stuff like that happens quite often...an American movie being released first in other countries BEFORE America...which is flat out weird to me. Sometimes, ya'll get the better quality releases too). It does help to put a date on these things, especially if it's a remake.

I really don't know what has got your panties in a bunch, but I have not been disrespectful. You had maybe a 1-2 second bit of dissapointment after clicking on this thread, is that really a problem? both films are called Halloween 2, and the OP didnt put in a year.... wow.. maybe he was not awear there was an 'original' Halloween 2? alot of people probably didn't even know there was a Halloween too.

And how do you click the same thread twice and still think its for the old version? the UK section doesnt fill up that quickly.

Please add me to your Ignore List, or report any of my posts and we will let the moderators make a decision.
