Anyone use Amazon.fr - Blu-ray Forum

Looking for some input. I am looking to order the following titles

Emmanuelle
L'ennemi intime
MR 73
36 quai des orfevres

after reading the reviews on this site. I have had good experiences with Amazon (U.S and UK) but wanted to see if anyone ordered from amazon.fr.. Also what is the currency that is used?

Amazon Fr...use the same layout like the other Amazon site...before you actually place your order, it will tell you how much your purchase would be in U.S dollars, you can also log in using your regular Amazon account...

thanks for the assistance. I was surprised to see for one title MR 73 it came out to a little more than $43.. Not sure if it is worth it or not.

The shipping from Amazon.fr is insane. I was going to order Bound but when I saw the price for just that shipped I canceled the order.

To be fair, it isn't the EU's fault that the US Dollar sucks right now.

i have had no problems with amazon.fr but if you can hold off for a month or two, 36 quai is coming to BD in the US.

It was expensive ordering from them before the dollar tanked. Shipping is the problem not the price of the movies. I don't mind ordering from Amazon.co.uk but Amazon.fr is nuts with their shipping rates. Japan is worse though I think.

As others have said, the shipping is way too much. Luckily, I have family members in France that ship it to me or I picked them up when I go visit.

I have purchased all the movies you have listed OP, (except emanuelle) and they are all worth it

You might want to check out eBay's French site, see if there are sellers with good feedback who ship to America, and see how much they charge.

Amazon.jp shipping is about $20 if you're only ordering one movie. But they only offer 2 day shipping, which is why it's so expensive.
