Seems Tiger Woods got in a crash on the way to Black Friday sales in Florida.

So far that's all I've heard about.

I saw an ambulance at my local Kohls at 6AM but I don't know what happened.

I got a horror story.....

So I got up this morning and went to Target........

and they were sold out of The Wizard of Oz!!!

I was in the mood to come home and watch "The Dark Side of the Rainbow". (And no there's not a "Dark Side of the Rainbow" bonus feature on the BD, you still have to set it up yourself.)

It was kind of like that for me, too. I pretty much bought everything from amazon (and some DVDs from Warner Archives). Stopped by a Best Buy and walked out empty-handed - there was nothing I really wanted.

The only thing I didn't buy was the Star Trek Original Movie Collection, because amazon advertised it at some point as a BF Featured Deal, but when the day came, they didn't lower the price, they just kept selling it for $65 like they had been for the last week or two.

Only thing that happened to me was that I had to take 3 trips to Best Buy before I could find a parking space.

I had to work on Black Friday.

The best part was no need to get in line, just shop at Amazon!

I got a crazy... CRAZY story.. It didn't happen to me.. And I'm LUCKY! I was at Walmart at about 5 AM and it was PACKED! I mean people EVERYWHERE! I finally made my way to the BD section, to no suprise all the good stuff was gone, except one more movie. Band of Brothers. I was making my way through the crowd for it when I saw two HUGE guys running like hell at it. I stopped dead in my tracks because I would have been messed up in the way of a jacked, tired, soccer dad. I just watched. They both grabbed it at the same time, and I knew something was gonna happen. So I just watched. It began with a tug of war over it.. Sounds ridiculous.. Probably because it was.. And out of nowhere one guy punches the other guy square in the face, REALLY HARD! Both of them were gigantic so this was the clash of the titans. I was standing there, mouth wide in shock. A lot of people started vanishing from the scene. The guy who got punched was real hard headed so he just ran the hell after the guy. It was the most insane thing I've ever seen. He dropped the movie and ran like HELL! I followed as best as I could, and security was all over the place. A few times in the mad dash I saw security officers pointing at them talking into the walking talkie. I think they had a lot to deal with that day. So I just got a view of the parking lot just as it got good. The guy who got punched had a little blood on the corner of his mouth, and I swear I've never seen someone so mad in my life. He grabbed the guy by the shirt, did a complete 360, and flung the guy into some random Jeep parked infront of the store. When he bounced off the car his face went straight into the hardest punch I've ever seen. He was out on his feet. He just stood for a fraction of a second before collapsing. By the time he hit the floor the other guy was on a mad dash for his car. I ran over to help the guy, and by then he was just getting up, really dazed. He had a HUGE black eye, a really bloody nose, and some blood coming out of the corner of his mouth. I helped him get to his feet and he nearly fell to the ground again. Out of nowhere he pushed me back. I knew enough just to leave him be. He was M-A-D! He shouted into the air (pardon my French)
"F*CK THIS SH*T!" and awkwardly limped to his car. I knew that was the end of it.

I've never in my life thought I'd ever expierience something like that. I never knew how crazy and insane shoppers are. But that was one of the craziest things I've ever seen. Security never came out.. But man I wish they had. I almost felt bad for the guy who got messed up. But hey.. He threw the first punch.
So anyway.. That's my Black Friday story. I will never forget it.

no horror stories...got almost everything on my list
only missed out on Burnout Paradise and the 18v Black and Decker drill @ WalMart

everything else was available and easily had...but that drill was a killer deal and they didn't have any left - too bad for my BIL

no mad rushes - everything was civilized - Staples at opening had just given the last laptop voucher out just after I arrived (didn't want it) and that was right @ 5:55 AM
